Desk mat size affects ergonomics, mouse range, and desk protection. Here's how to pick the right size for your setup.
Measure your desk
Before buying, measure your desk's usable width (between monitor arm and edge) and depth. Subtract 10 cm from each to leave room for the mat to sit centered.
XXL (900 × 400 mm)
The PulseMat XXL Desk Pad covers most of a 160 cm desk in one sheet. It fits keyboard, mouse, and full arm range — ideal for low-sensitivity FPS players who need full-arm movement.
XL (800 × 300 mm)
A slightly smaller option for 140 cm desks. Fits keyboard and mouse with normal arm range. Best for general gaming and productivity.
L (500 × 400 mm)
Mouse-only pads like the AimCore Mousepad. Best for high-sensitivity players who don't move their arm, or for tight desk layouts.
M (400 × 300 mm)
Compact mouse pads for laptop users or secondary setups. The AimCore M is our smallest option.
Our recommendation: when in doubt, go XXL. A larger desk mat protects more surface, gives you unlimited mouse room, and dampens keyboard vibration.
